happy belated birthday singapore! haha noe this is like super late but better late than never~ =)

spent e most of ytd nua-ing at home! haha but not e whole ok! i went hiking/ trekking ytd morn too! went to walk e various trails n bridges behind ex-SAJC there.. behing harbourfront there lor.. quite surprised tt singapore still got such nature-y places.. feel quite gd too.. walk walk in these nature places, enjoying e breeze n e sun, enjoying e view.. n it wasnt difficult to walk at all.. so easy.. so filial children out there.. if got time can bring ur family there.. quite a gd place for a family outing~

neway luckily i din go out to watch fireworks ytd.. rain + crowd= NO NO! haha.. but e fireworks looked pretty nice on tv.. felt abit regret nv go but den mayb at home still e best! haha! neway i realised tt after next yr, i wun get to see ndp liao.. feel abit sad over dat, even though ndp is like 'ok lor'.. so mayb next yr i'll try e online ballot 4 ndp tickets! haha e least is next yr i will drag my ass out on ndp to see e fireworks!!! YEAH! (say 1st lah!)

OOHH! i saw anna's bird bird on tv!!!! ok this sound so wrong.. i saw my frd on tv! haha! n i think she got like at least 3 sec of tv time? haha! anna is so envious i can sense tt!! well anna at least u appeared on straits times.. =) can i say i got 'famous' frds den? -_-

n i so cant believe it! i'm watching so much of olympics these days! dun rmb me being so into olympics e previous time.. but mayb coz i'm bored lah! hee.. but v interesting leh.. but i cant watch much of it anymore lah.. nvm.. but TAO LI jiayou!!! hope she gets at least a bronze medal for 100m butterfly tmr morn! e best is to get a GOLD!! yeah!!

feeling so tired now.. dunno y leh.. slept sufficiently today.. is it e post-holidays syndrome? haha.. shoulders still aching.. i'm old liao lah..

a couple more days to sch reopening.. feel quite sian abt it but somehow still looking forward to it.. looking forward to meeting 4 qianjins again.. haha! looking forward to having smth to look forward to.. haha sounds so gg-round-in-circle.. but ultimately v sian coz no more slacking, tv watching etc.. will hav a hectic life again..

n feeling quite sian abt moving back to hall again.. really v tiring to move stuffs lor.. but so fast its my 3rd yr in hall liao.. soon will b life in beijing liao.. hmm time really passes v fast.. wonder how long will it b tt i'll b old n wrinkled, thinking back abt this blog entry leh? haha!

really funny how we always like to look back rite? guess its human nature.. but actually i'm always v curious abt 'life' after death.. seriously, wat will it b? will there really b such a thing as heaven or hell? or mayb after our death in this life we juz proceed straight to another life? will there really b like god, or buddha, or goddess of mercy etc? or mayb everything juz blackout? hmm really v curious abt it, but i dun wanna die yet lah CHOY!!!! haha!

Hongkong/ Macau 2008

I'm BACK!!!!

=) heehee for ppl who juz dunno, i'm back frm a holiday in hongkong n abit of macau.. back from all e 买东西吃东西买东西吃东西!! haha i love the holiday feeling! no studying, no deadline, no exams NO STRESS!! generally i think e trip was quite ok, although i gotta say i love taiwan more.. but hk was ok, macau was quite nice.. but i really really gotta say: the weather was BLOODILY HOT lah! the sky was blue the 6 days i was there, no clouds, hot wind, dusty air.. sigh give me s'pore weather anytime.

but the food there was GGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDD!!! i totally love e food there! dimsum, 烧味, normal 茶餐厅 breakfast, desserts.. YUMYUM! if there's really something i miss in hk now, it'll b e food. sian i'm missing e 烧肉 frm e cafe near my hotel liao. sigh.

there's juz so much to say abt the trip!!! ok i'll try 2 keep it short.

DAY 1， 22。07。2008

had to wake up so early for e 630a.m. flight.. was cheated by the airport bcoz u cant even bring water u buy after checking in onto e plane.. in e end spend like $7 on water even b4 landing in hk. bleh. but scenery frm plane was cool.

love e clouds.

my hotel is in 油麻地, so i had to take e airport express train to kowloon mrt station, den a free shuttle bus to my hotel. e train ride was nice, den saw some nice scenery along the way, but e free shuttle bus was urgh.

hey but den it's free lah, wat u expect? n ymca international house is no 5 star hotel. (free shuttle bus to 6 star The Venetian is SO diff.)

then had lunch at this 茶餐厅 near my hotel, under my bro's recommendation. I love 烧味 here! heehee i ate at this cafe 4 times!!! e 烧肉 here is so tasty n e skin is so crispy!!!!! SUPER YUMMY!

and then for the 1st time in my life..

ta-dah! i dye n highlighted n cut my hair!!!

dye, highlight, cut, wash, treatment for ~S$60. is that cheap? i think it is, bcoz e cut is quite gd n e red colour is quite nice. heehee. but i think i look very gong gong. haha..

anyway e highlight n everything took quite awhile so i was almost late for e light show at Avenue of Stars. but ok lah. e show was ok lor. mayb bcoz my brother showed me e video of it before. n there were so many ppl there. super crowded.

After e light show, walked to this place called 唐朝. it's quite famous for e dessert. had dinner & dessert there. the wanton noodles i had was not bad bcoz is prawn wantons. 1 prawn per wanton leh! then e pork chop oso not bad. the dessert.. e 杨枝金露 was ok only, but e 豆花 was smooth n tasty.. nice!

FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!

After dat, walked ard tsim sha tsui, shopped abit, den went back hotel to prepare for e next day: Lantau island 大屿山.

DAY 2, 23。07。2008

in the morning, walk a long distance n went to a random 茶餐厅 at 太子 there. think e food there is not bad.. haha! but my bro comment dat e food dun look appealing in e photos.. -_-''' dun care it's nice.

then it was train down to ngong ping 360 cable car station, where i took e cable car up to e Big Buddha. e view up was v nice coz e sky was v blue.. e cable car ride was abt 25 mins, so lucky it was quite windy up in the cable car..

we had to pass by this rather lame ngong ping village b4 reaching e Big Buddha. the big buddha was rather spectacular, but e stairs b4 it was.. sigh. mayb i'm juz out of exercise. haha! but it was quite worth it. e view was quite nice n it was v windy!

after this was e vegetarian meal in the 宝莲寺斋堂.. it was not bad lah.. extremely BIG serving for HK$60. even had to return the rice. just had e dishes for lunch coz not v nice to waste food on 佛门清净地。haha! love e mushroom dish e most. e sauce of dat dish was yummy n e mushroom was juicy n delicious!!!

felt v full after e meal even w/o e rice. went on after e meal to look for e route to the Wisdom Path. think really need some wisdom to find e path bcoz e map pointing to this path was very misleading. It was a long n wulu road to the wisdom path. luckily there were many ppl gg to so it was ok.

after this very enlightening trip to the big buddha, it was the v heartening trip to.. heehee.. the outlet shopping centre!!!! forgot e name of e shopping centre liao, only noe dat it is the shopping centre wif many outlet stores. n it's not like e anchorpoint so small lor.. it's 3 storeys high can!!!! branded goods outlet stores oso got! erm but some things really not dat cheap so nv like buy alot. juz bought a Adidas tee for my bro, a Roots tee for myself n an Espirit jeans for myself. haha! but i guess if want branded goods at cheaper price it might b a good place. that place even got a Body Shop outlet store can!!!!!!!

DAY 3, 24。07。2008

woke up late for this day, so ended up having brunch. but it was a gd brunch coz we had DIMSUM!! haha. wat is a hk trip w/o dimsum can.. went over to causeway bay to this restuarant under maxim's, which is similar to our crystal jade lah. but think e dimsum is so much more better than s'pore many dimsum. even e appetiser which is this curry thingy is yummy.

couldnt resist eating hence some things look so little. oh e egg tart was gd!

after e brunch it was of coz shopping again. (girls lah~) accidently came across this shop called uniqlo. think it's e clothing dept of Muji. quite a nice place to shop. esp for guys. the tees there can go for as low as HK$39 on sale. e normal price is HK$99, which is abt S$18. think quite worth for e cute price. they even have like japanese manga prints. bought tees there for my cousins n belt 4 my bro.

At night, it was back over at Central. i wanted 2 go to the PEAK. sigh i think is so not nice. firstly, the queue for e tram was long. waiting for the tram was super sian. AND it was so crowded at the Peak. wat a putoff lor. Thirdly, dunno since when they start charging a fee of HK$20 just to go onto e viewing gallery to see e view. WHAT A RIP-OFF LOR!!!!!!!!!!!! i refuse to pay so juz went to some corner dat can see e view too but not as nice lah.

but 1 thing nice abt e peak was that i went to madam tussaud (forget how to spell). was quite nice doing stupid things wif all e wax figures. like..

DAY 4, 25。07。2008 -- MACAU

woke up super early for e ferry to macau. water was very choppy at hk ferry terminal. tot i was gonna feel sick but i din, lucky.

went straight to central macau. haha a tour guide tried to cheat us of HK$300 at the macau ferry terminal. in the end it took us abt HK$5 each to get ard? i mean yar gotta waste lotsa energy walking, but e idea is to noe how to take free shuttle buses to various hotels n casinos.. haha!

ok back to central macau. that's where the ruins of St Paul, or 大三八牌坊 is. lotsa local products to buy here, n they r pretty not bad. had to buy lotsa local products here under e instructions ofmy bro n my godma. haha.

we den went back to the ferry terminal to take a free shuttle bus to the six-star hotel-cum-casino The Venetian. the place is juz filled wif gold paint lah. such a hype over it but actually it really rather similar to genting first world's hotel shopping area. the venice area was really so-so only. mayb it's gd coz there were lotsa performers along the corridors.

but the casino here was super cool!! yes i managed to enter the casino. above 18 can liao. can even enter wif slippers n shorts n hands full of shopping bags. haha! well dat was me, n they din stop me. hee! neway e casino was really big! like 1 big soccer field liddat i think. or mayb 2 fields. den the dealers hands damn cool lor. haha i was v amazed coz din go into casino before. =) think it's v interesting place to go except 4 e smoking. see ppl gamble oso v fun. haha!

den took a shuttle bus to another casino, Sands. but not to go casino again lah. was to go to e macau fisherman's wharf. lotsa replica's of famous places all over e world like 唐城, 罗马竞技场，babylon, potala palace etc.. juz quite interesting but was quite tiring to walk ard..

after that is juz a short walk to the Macau Grand Prix stand to look look see see den it was back to HK..

DAY 5, 26。07。2008

this was the official shopping day. basically we juz shopped to whole day frm central to tsim sha tsui all e way to 太子。 extremely tired. but a fruitful day. almost went crazy at H&M. i love this place. feels like topshop+espirit but so much more cheaper. haha!

oso visited some places in central.. those places that appear often in hk dramas..

DAY 6， 27。07。2008

juz shopped somemore on this day. coz nothing much to do neway. reach airport much earlier den we should so juz waited for the checkin counter to open. check-in early.

but almost missed the plane. i tot the airline meant that reach departure hall 30 mins b4 departure. they meant e departure gate where we had to take a bus to the airplane, not the place where they check our passport n everything.

well i din noe so u arrived at departure gate at 15 mins before. the crew members sort of lost their temper at us, calling us to hurry up n kept saying we were e last passengers. heehee so paiseh. but come to think of it so scary. almost missed flight leh. but heng lah.. (pat chest)

i feel bad to say that............ i din go 4 knitting this weekend. well i guess no one's really gonna blame me for not going, but den like kind of lied to myself?? haha! but i really wanted to go on sat!!! REALLY!! then my aunt asked me to go shopping with her too, so i ended up shopping. haha! hee.. den i was too lazy to go today. hee.. ok i'm just a lazy ass lah!

but i'm glad to go shopping k! coz i rented 4 books! FOUR leh! haha got enuf books to last me for awhile. i got a jackie collins book which e storeperson told me was similar to the "Gold Diggers", a book called "ain't she sweet" which felt like a funny read, agatha christie's 1st mystery book and *drum roll* "sex and e city" book!!! haha!!! haven started any but i do hope they r all v interesting!!! haha i'm becoming such a literature person! woah! i can b a arts n science person!!!! haha!!!!!

but for now, mayb i'll go back to becoming a couch potato person! bb!

got my special sem korean result liao.. haha got S for satisfactory! haha! yeah expected lah.. if i dun get it i den will stun lor! sian.. feel like knowing my actual result, but guess i'll nv noe~

haha gg 4 knitting lesson 2 tmr.. after like 2 wks? hope e ppl rmb me.. if not i'm screwed.. coz it'll mean they wun teach me.. i hope they do.. looking forward 2 making e scarf.. until now i'm still stuck at basic.. haha..

neway i was like supposed 2 stop work today? supposedly lah.. but now i'm asked to go work on mon still.. haha! i dunno how long i'll stay on this job lah.. but if they ask me work of coz ok lah.. got money wat.. i'm v mercenary one! haha! but damn! i'm fattening frm all e work!! i so wanna go swimming! got e motivation to! but i need e time lah.. mayb on wkends.. =) i wanna become a healthy gal! haha! ok lah i juz wanna off-balance e fats i'm gonna gain frm e hk trip.. haha!

and.. i'm back into reading english books! yeah! haha u all dun believe i'm a avid reader when i was younger rite? haha i dun really believe myself too but i am ok! haha! now i so feel like reading english bks again, but i want v interesting ones!! i juz finished reading a bk! it's called "GOLD DIGGERS". it's a pretty RA book as in it really contains v explicit details abt sex.. haha! but it's quite relevant to e book bcoz it's abt how women work their way ard e upper society of london.. although will feel quite shy reading abt e RA parts, but e story's really quite interesting!!!! VERY DIFFERENT. definitely.. erm i wouldnt really recommend this for e faint hearted but if u want smth different n bold, i think it's a pretty gd read lah.. CAUTION: u muz really b quite prepared.. haha!!!

oh n now coming up got so many movies i wanna watch!! 1) Hancock 2) batman 3)对狗狗的十个承诺 4）21 5) wanted

i've juz gotta say..

HUMANS ARE SUCH WEIRD CREATURES.

i dunno y, but often our actions r not in tune wif our thoughts. we do things in a way, yet think otherwise. WHY? it makes us so complicated. it makes us so difficult to understand each other. or at least, i find it difficult to read ppl's actions, hence read ppl's thoughts.

i mean, how come we cant b straightforward? like, if u like, b happy; dun like, pull a face, cry, watever. i mean sometimes straightforward ppl can b very into-ur-face, n can come across as being v rude, but frm another pt-of-view, u'll nv need to guess wat they r hiding, bcoz there's none!! it can b pretty liberating this way sometimes.

n sometimes i'm really so so so tired of trying to interpret wat ppl r thinking. it's so draining. call me simple-minded or watever, but i juz wanna read ppl as they r. i dun wanna keep thinking: "r u doing this 4 a reason?" i dun wanna read btw e lines anymore. it's so bloodily irritating.

n 2 ppl like me, actions can b reflective of ur thoughts. hence i dun like it when ppl do things one way, but think in another way. it makes it so difficult to anticipate ur thoughts.. it's like,'hey i'm not u! if u dun show me, how e hell am i 2 noe?' if u tell me 2 read ur thoughts frm ur moods n expressions, U BLOODY HELL DON'T DO THINGS THAT ARE REFLECTIVE OF YOUR THOUGHTS IN THE FIRST PLACE, HOW AM I GOING TO KNOW HOW U THINK?

and if such ppl wanna continue doing things this way, i guess i hav 2 treat them differently too. i mean for example, if u cant take jokes in e 1st place, den y joke? it's like hey, y bother? if u dun like it, we can juz scrap everything off in e 1st place lah.

sigh.

finally i'm working!!!! haha data entry only but hey! at least got pay!!! $6/hr but i'm satisfied liao.. coz e envt is great!! got funny ppl 2 talk 2 during work, can listen 2 music, nice envt.. ME SATISFIED LIAO!!! haha!!

plus i'm learning knitting now liao!!!! yes!! can make nice scarf soon!!!

haha e title prob suggest how long i haven drove.. i think e number of times i've drove after getting my licence can b counted wif 1 hand.. haha ok mayb 2.. basically it juz says tt i really haven be drving.. my driver's licence is a white elephant.. haha!

so i finally drove again today.. e last time was... half a yr ago? mayb even longer.. haha i really dunno.. really long long ago.. haha i was super excited b4 i got into e car.. after i got in.. i juz prayed dat i wun bump into another car.. after all e car's not mine!!! my mind was blank when i started lah.. haha!

so how do u thinki rate my driving? well i think it was SHITTY.. haha ok lah mayb not so bad.. but my driving.. sure need lotsa improvement.. haha firstly, i'm definitely quite slow.. plus i'm rather timid i guess? keep having this fear dat i'll bump into other cars.. but hey!!!! i din get any horn frm other ppl k!!!!!!!!! even though i was driving w/o my p-plate at rather slow speed.. haha! at least smth 2 b proud of.. =)

n i think i keep muttering nonsense 2 my dad.. (yar he was wif me 2 prevent me frm slamming into other ppl..) like "i can drive better slowly" "how do i make a right turn here?" haha basically v dumb qns.. but i really v long nv drive liao mah.. forgot alot of things.. haha i even forgot how 2 reverse lor.. like turn which side can go which dir in reverse mode.. haha!

hence my parking was horrid! really.. frm start 2 end i need my dad 2 guide me.. haha! think with e poles for parking i oso cannot park now le bah.. v horrible rite? n is perpendicular parking only leh.. not even parallel.. haha..

but my mom comment dat i drive quite ok leh.. haha! but den again.. she's not a driver lah.. apparently she took driving lessons b4, but during e driving test e tester was like scolding her throughout e entire test.. den she fed up (n failed i think) n she dun wanna take e test anymore le.. haha! so dotz rite? my mother lah.. funny..

but i feel so much better abt driving today.. feel like i can drive.. haha! but mayb i thinking too much too.. haha! nvm i can slowly improve lah.. haha! but i still think i cant park 2 save my life.. but nvm too.. can alw learn.. if cant.. CAN ALWAYS JUST DUN DRIVE!!!!

so many things today.. haiz.. first i had my korean exam early in e morn.. at 9.. so long nv wait up so early liao.. 630a.m... i dun even wake up so early in hall.. sigh.. wat's more.. i din even sleep much.. i finally fell aslp at 4a.m.? sigh.. i think i hav e pre-exam-insomnia-syndrome or smth along dat line.. always cant fall aslp b4 exam.. but i wasnt even kancheong for my exam leh!!! i was like super super relac oso cant slp.. (how relac i was: i was pia-ing a 35 episodes hk drama while studying 4 korean.. e day b4 exam i finished 12 episodes.. haha!!!) -_-''' stupid body..

but mayb it was due to e bad cough-cum-sore throat i was having (still having actually).. haha! coughing e whole nite.. sigh in e end i think insuff slp worsen e condition.. in e morn become sexy voice.. haha!! in e end gotta cancel e dinner wif kelvin coz need to go see doctor in e evening.. PAISEH KELVIN!!!

yup so i went 2 sch 4 e exam.. wah rao.. raining in e morn.. super cold can.. i tot i was gg 2 die liao.. -_-''' haha den i saw ty pia-ing her japanese at e sbs bench.. so went 2 disturb her.. den we went e exam venue tgt.. finally her index no smaller than me.. haha! ............ok v useless facts..

neway e exam was quite easy lah.. lost afew marks here n there but nvm lah.. think can get at least C lah.. S/U liao so ok.. quite anything abt it.. haha! yeah.. exam's over liao.. went shopping wif anna!!! yeah!

haha neway.. we went 2 vivo!! n i think anna went mad there.. coz all her fav stores all there.. zara, mango, espirit, pull n bear.... hmm like no more liao hor? oh den actually not alot lah.. haha! but she really like mad lah.. haha!!! like super super long nv shopped! haha!! OOOHHHH!!!! (to anna: stop thinking abt ur dress lah!) den we realised hula&co is a super copycat!!! they copied lotsa things frm forever21!!!! but den, they oso make clothes more affordable coz forever21 clothes really v ex lor!!!! tsk!!!

oh n i finally bought flip flops again frm NUM!!!! heehee i think v nice leh!!! white colour again, but is e weird weird curly curly design kind, not e normal 人字 design.. hee.. i like it quite alot but it's white again.. gotta scrub my flipflops again.. (no pic sorry.. v tired n lazy)

after dat me n anna went 2 our fav gloria jeans to rest n slack n tok cock (heehee).. we both love e coffee there! haha anna for her mint choc bomb.. me bcoz i love dat u can ownself add choc sauce 2 ur drinks!!! n e sauce quite yummy lor!!! but i din take any today.. anymore choc n i can say bye bye 2 my sexy voice..

haha i think i totally screwed my korean oral today! haha.. think i took e longest 4 oral? hee.. so many questions she asked i dun understand wat teacher toking lor.. to think i started so well.. tsk! here's a review of e questions:

Q1. 취미가 모엇입니까? (what is ur hobby?)

ANS: 취미가 드라마를 봅니다. (literally: hobby drama watch.)

(did quite ok for this one.. din hesitate much..)

Q2. 무슨 드라마를 좋아합니까? (what kind of drama i like?)

ANS: hongkong 드라마를 좋아합니다. (hongkong drama i like.)

(think awhile for what drama to say..)

ANS: 아니요. (no.)

(din really understand this sentence at 1st, so ask teacher repeat den understand.. haha!)

Q4. 아버지는 무엇을 합니까? (ur father do wat?)

ANS: 아버지는 텍시운전사이십니다. (my father is taxi driver.)

(oso din understand this at first.. 2nd time den understand..)

Q5. 어머니는 무엇을 합니까? (ur mother do wat?)

ANS: 어머니는 주부이십니다. (my mother is housewife.)
